Kashi Award for Visual Art – KAVA4
To be considered for the Kashi Award for Visual Art you must be an Indian citizen that has completed either your BFA or MFA (or equivalent) within the last five years.
The KAVA4 entry form must be legibly completed, 10-15 images of your artwork, indicating title, size, medium and date, provided (preferably in a CD, but photographs are acceptable), and documentation of exhibition/program participation (in the form of newspaper clippings, invitations, brochures, etc.) collected and delivered to Kashi, no later than April 30, 2008. The following important issues will be considered during the selection process: your art, your thinking, your inspiration and attitude, and your approach to the art profession.
Winners will benefit by a professionally organized group exhibition in Kochi (October 2008) - supported with a full color brochure, travel arrangements and accommodations during the exhibition, and financial support of Rupees 30,000 each.
